Will me being pregnant show up on the sonogram?

I had Mon Dec 28. I may be pregnant. If i am by the time i go to get a sonogram to check my stomach to see why i have been having weird pains randomly my pregnancy will be exactly 5 weeks. Will the sonogram be able to tell if i am pregnant or not?
