Is this Scientists trying to gracefully bow out of "Global warming" and save some face before it completly?

Implode? Sounds like verification to me. The damage may be irreversable, (that remains to be seen) but that does not mean it can't be mitigated. Reducing greenhouse emissions will most certainly slow down the warming, slow down the rise in sea level and allow the earth to recover more quickly. What we do today affects us little no matter what we do or don't do. This is about the future.
