.44 magnum vs .357 magnum recoil?

I have been thinking about getting a Ruger Blackhawk in .44 magnum with a 7.5 inch barrel. I haven't ever shot a .44 mag so i was wondering about the recoil. I have shot a .357 magnum with 158 gr loads out of an old smith and wesson 66-2(don't think they are made anymore) with a 2 inch barrel. I didn't think the recoil was at all bad. I want to get the handgun for deer hunting here in Indiana since we can only use pistol cartridge rifles and pistols. I thought about just getting a longer barrel for the .357 I have but they don't make them any more. I was wondering how would the recoil of the .357 with a 2 inch barrel compare to the recoil of a 7.5 inch .44 magnum. I am just a kid(14 years old) so my parents will be the actual owners of the gun but i will be getting it with my money and i don't want to by something that i can't handle. For me the .357 recoil is only slight and i could easily shoot it all day. Also if I don't get enough money how is a H&R handi rifle chambered in .44 magnum.
