Have a work permitt Did Social Security Office do something wrong?

My husband filed for me 3momths ago and i already recive my work permitt and i aplied for my social security card on my ss card it says (Valid for Work only with DHS Authorization) what does this means? Am i suppose to get a regular social card? I have my interview for my Green Card in January. What is the process?
