I have a houseguest who comes into the kitchen when cook to chat while she cleans out her ears with qtips!!!?

Say, I'll be cooking and she'll just have gotten out of the shower. While she is getting ready, she'll come into the kitchen to say something or hang out while she is still swabbing her ears. THIS MORTIFIES ME on so many levels as I was not even allowed to brush my hair within a 5 foot radius of the area where food was prepared. Should I inform her of her bad manners or is that the rude thing to do?
