How is everyone doing during the economy-work wise?
I am temping now, can't stand the job, it's only 30-hrs a wk but it's close to home, pays well and I'll have it till Oct. I've been looking for perm work since June-08, I've sent resumes out everywhere, been on too many interviews to count and still nothing. I would love to get into health care and have registered for a Medical Admin. cl at Regional Occupational Program which has a 2-wk intern at the end of the semester and a computer cl to update my skills. I'm hoping that I will either be able to extend the internship or find one on my own when sch ends in May and then try and get a perm job in Health Care. It's so depression out there, I have over 20 yrs. admin exp. but with so many looking, it's impossible these days, I wake up with high anxiety, panic attacks everyday. How is everyone doing during the economy crisis? How long has everyone been unemployed? How do you stay positive with everything seems at such a loss, sometimes I feel as if I shouldn't get out of bed at all. Now with regards to sch, should I wait till I finish the Med Admin in May to seek an Intern or take a risk, give up my part time temp job and find one where I can do that part-time and go to sch the other part of the time and finish sch with at least some exp.
