Wanting to know about taking the train from Stranraeer to Ayr in Scotland.....?

Stranraer to ayr is far, why not get the ferry to troon and its only a short distance to ayr, the sea cat is the quickest, Collins and Dochertys Coaches do Belfast to Troon its about �30 and �65 return.
