Mechanics please help. Wife put diesel fuel in place of oil when doing oil change?

I left the Hummer with the wife today and she tried to impress me and change the oil at our trailer park. Well instead of putting engine oil in, she grabbed the container that had diesel fuel in it. I dont hear it knocking and oil pressure is good but the check engine light is now on. I had her take it to the professionals at autozone but they said the code was a glitch, so she was told to take the negative off the battery and it would clear the code. When she got back to our trailer community, she did that but the light is still on. What should we do?

I feel fairly confident. i was just curious how long other LPN's waited to take their test????????

Phone charging problem?

I have a Samsing Preston phone that I got in about August last year. I have never had any problems with it, but recently (in the last week or two) it hasn't been charging properly - I'll plug it in and it'll start charging, but after about 5 minutes, it'll pop up with a message saying "battery fully charged - unplug charger." -- however it hasn't fully charged - only to the second bar or so. I can start charging it again but the same thing happens. Does anyone know what is wrong/how to fix it? Or would I have to get a new phone/battery/charger?

I know someone thinking of doing one of the three. I say they are all a waste of time now, with the economy the way it is. You have biz grads who flip burgers, if they can even get that. You have law grads who can't find jobs, and a Ph.D in Korean studies??? What use would that be? The person I know doesn't seem too bright for someone who has a bachelor's degree from Duke...and it's in Comparative international studies/German/german studies...also a waste of time, I'd say. Since it is on, that will give the tech who works on it a clue and a direction to start with. I doubt you will find any textbooks that cover the mechanism of action of that drug and only that drug. However, if you are interested in Neuroscience (which is basically the subject that deals with antidepressants, etc...) then I strongly recommend Stahl's Essential Psychopharmacology by Stephen M. Stahl. The book goes over all of the major concepts in neurobiology in a very easy to understand matter. A few medical schools use this book to teach neuroscience and having read it myself, I think it does a pretty good job. Hope this helps.

I live in a trailer park and there is timber all around us. Our land lords are older folks and work very hard so when we have a chance to help we do. Well they asked us to help them trap the wild and domestic animals in the park that are causing problems. No problem we have caught 4 cats, 1 raccoon and a squirrel. Well, today my husband came across a huge open gap on the underside of one of the trailers and underneath was bags upon bags of trash. My question is what is big or strong enough to carry those bags from all over the park to there, also what would want to? We live in Missouri, and I can't think of anything, Coons don't waste that much time with a bag, they just rip into it, cats are the same way. I want your opinions! Please help!

Hmm...well I don't know how to put this. But....I am obsessed with my weight. I am constantly excersising, I do at least 5k every morning to burn off the calories I ate the night before and I do a set routine that I planned of pushups, cruches, handstands etc. everymorning. I also count calories...I restrict myself to 169 calories, ppl don't stress just for a minute it sounds low lol..but its really filling I eat only vegetables and love it =D. I know what you are going through, my husband and I are of a different race. We have and still get those "why is she with him?" or so "he went to a white woman?" Some ppl don't look at the heart of the person, all they see is color, it is society, or the way they were raised, I am proud of my husband for who he is, not the color of his skin. We hold hands and kiss in public, for some that is offensive, we are all human whether of race, religion, uality, or beliefs, judging someone because of these "issues" is wrong and childish. and we should learn something from a child, because they donot see color either, they see the heart in all of us.

Eggs and cholesterol?

I was eating 2 eggs every morning, because a nutritionist put me on a certain diet (since I have had very weak muscles after an accident with something, and she wanted me to have protein). And, after speaking with her, I was convinced that it wouldn't hurt my cholesterol. Now, my cholesterol is high and it was perfect before. I never had a problem with cholesterol before this. Is there a good possibility that eating these eggs every day (for 9 months) has caused this increase in cholesterol? If so, can I lower it back to normal by simply stopping to eat them and eating more oatmeal?

My 3 year old has been sick for over a week!?

I took him into the doctor one week when he was complaining of his throat hurting.. He had bumps on his throat and he was complaining of his belly hurting. They said it was strep.. did not run a test just said it was strep. He was on antibiotics for 10 days. After being off for two days he throat was bothering his really bad again, and his stomach. I took him into the doctor again. He was dehydrated and put into the hospital. He was there for 24 hours. They did a CT scan of his abdomen to rule out appendicitis. He also had a test for ROTAVIRUS MONO and STREP. All negative! He was on an IV for 24 hours for dehydration and they let him go. He is now home and still says his stomach hurts and crys. He also is saying his throat hurts and had a VERY bad cough and congestion. His fever goes from 99 to 102. I JUST WANNA NKOW WHATS WRONG WITH MY KID! Anyone have anything like this happen before? Or any ideas? He goes in for his check up this Fri to see how he is..

Traveling with a toddler, staying with the whole fam damily?

My husband and I are planning to attend his brother's wedding in October. We will be traveling by car with our 18 month old daughter. It's a 6 hour drive that, with a toddler, will take literally all day. Not fun. The real humdinger is that we will be staying at his parents' house... with 13 other relatives. In a 4 bedroom house. The problem is not my in-laws. They're great people and we get along wonderfully. The problem is that there is not enough space to house 16 people, two of which are toddlers. My daughter will not sleep in a room with anyone else. She simply will not. I've tried. Secondly, there are stairs at their house. My daughter has never encountered stairs before. I am so afraid that she'll get hurt on them. Thirdly, I KNOW I won't be able to sleep with other people in a bedroom with us. I have a difficult enough time sleeping through my husband snoring, flip-flopping, etc. So my question is this: Do I disappoint my husband's entire family by not attending and also keeping my daughter here at home with me? (She is the flower girl for the wedding.) Or do I ask my doctor about sedatives and tranquilizers to help me "put on my big girl panties" and deal with a less-than-ideal situation. I'm already having panic attacks and the wedding is 2 months away. Yes, I am a high-strung worry-wart. I've been working on this character flaw all of my adult life. Any reasonable suggestions will be highly appreciated. Anyone who tells me that I'm over-reacting, I already know that I probably am. But if there happens to be anyone out there who happens to have been through a situation like this before, what did you do?

Why are my snakes scales turned up?
